Great Northern Carousel - (406) 457-5353

A great place to take the kids on a hot summer afternoon. The building is beautiful. The animals on the carousel were hand carved by local residents to depict not only the standard horses but wildlife native to the area. They serve wonderful hard ice cream in the most wonderful flavors. The only down side I can think of is the prices.While the ice cream is good and hand scooped, it is expensive. The carousel rides also have gone up in price. It now becomes a very special treat to go there.
